    Hi,
    I write from Western Australia.
Tony's sudden passing had touched many people. May his musical legacy touch many more: such as the unique sounds of Sanguma.

  4. This tragic news is truly devastating, I just can't believe he's gone. During the recent World Music Expo in Melbourne, Australia, I had the pleasure of Tony's company, shopping, hanging out and watching him perform with Richard Mogu. We had made plans to meet up again very soon in POM. If only I had known that these were the last precious moments I would spend with him. During the '80's I enjoyed my role as the roadie with Sanguma for their Australian tour. Tony forged links with other musicians worldwide including many here in Australia that were inspirational. He was a remarkable and talented musician and a truly humble man. He paved the way for a generation of PNG musicians and was many years ahead of his time. I join many around the world who will miss him dearly. Sincere condolences to his wonderful family and many friends and brothers & sisters in music. RIP brother, you're unforgettable. Hi,
It is sad news of the passing of one PNG's greatest and influential musician. Tony will always be remembered as a pioneer of early contemporary music. He will be sorely missed. Reginald Ledimo(Brisbane)

Does it have to be the death of you to bring the group back together to perform? I have been talking on FaceBook and also discussing with you and Buruka in September/October about getting the band back together. Rest in peace my Brother. I will make sure you live on in our thoughts. Jodam
